I’m Andy Don — a veteran, a storyteller, and a photographer. Service taught me how to sit still and pay attention. That turned out to be the whole job.
I work slowly. A session with me is a conversation first and a shoot second. I’d rather spend the first half hour learning who you are than burning through a shot list, because the frames that matter arrive after you stop performing.
Between commissions I go looking for the same stillness outdoors. The landscapes and the portraits are one pursuit: presence, held long enough to print.
Every frame is an invitation to pause, reflect, and feel.

Every commission begins with a conversation about what the images are for and who they are for. There are no packages — the session is built around your answer.

I direct lightly and wait. The goal is not a flawless picture of you; it is a true one.
